A full course of 36 foursomes were joined by 18 corporate sponsors and perfect weather for the 2019 Golf Classic. Not even closure of the adjacent Commercial Vehicle Inspection Gate could temper the mood. Although a few golfers were impacted the course staff was quick to ferry them out to join their teams shortly after play started and we were able to maintain a steady pace of play throughout the day (thanks in part to the “pledge” everyone took before the start!).
Our Registration/Breakfast Sponsor – AEC/Emersion JV provided coffee and doughnuts while our Driving Range Sponsor – Terracon provided a stocked driving range for golfers to warm up before the outing, and it showed!
Winners were announced and raffle prizes were handed out at the lunch sponsored by Heapy Engineering.

The annual golf outings have permitted the granting of funds to deserving students for furtherance of their education in engineering, architecture and sciences that align with the Society of American Military Engineers mission. This year’s event is expected to raise nearly $12,000.
A huge thanks to all of this year’s sponsors:
