Our MEGA Maryland Small/Minority Business Conference was a huge success!  Thank you to everyone who exhibited, sponsored, presented, attended, and especially to our committee led by Melissa Smith!  We appreciate all your efforts and generosity, which benefit both our members and our scholarship and philanthropy funds.  We are already looking forward to our next event in October 2018! Attendees desiring professional development hours, please contact Judy Hackett.

Great news! There is a new parking app available called LAZgo! where you can pay ahead and reserve a spot on the Walter's surface lot at 600 Cathedral Street (right around the corner from the Engineer's Club). You can also pre-pay and reserve a spot at 601 North Calvert Street that participates with LAZ Parking. See link below to download the app, reserve parking or for more information. Construction will be finished soon as well (fingers crossed).

We’re Looking for a Few Good Fellows

The SAME Academy of Fellows is a body of SAME members who have rendered dedicated and outstanding service to SAME, to military engineering, to engineering and related professions in general, and to their community.  Being accepted into the College of Fellows is a great distinction.  Somewhat less than 3% of the total SAME membership has been awarded this honor.  However, for members who have shown outstanding achievement and leadership (which includes leadership by example), being accepted into the Academy of Fellows is not an unachievable goal, and the Society is sincere in its desire to ensure that deserving members are granted this recognition.  The selection process is not a competition.
