The Charter of the Readiness and Homeland Security (RHS) Committees of the New England Region is to provide the leadership, education and the capability to mobilize resources quickly and effectively throughout New England with a focus on the greater Boston, MA; Providence, RI; and Portsmouth, NH areas. We will strive to partner with community, state and Federal emergency management officials and disaster relief organizations to develop and improve plans and capabilities to respond to natural and man-made disasters and emergencies including acts of terrorism

A copy of our Disaster Preparedness and Response Report is available for your review and comments This living document provides background information on the National Response Framework (NRF), the objectives of our joint RHS Committees including which of the 15 emergency support functions (ERFs) we plan to support, our approach to being as responsive and effective as possible, a roster with contact phone numbers of members of our Committees, and an Emergency Response Support Table that lists the following key agencies and Committee points of contact (POCs):
