The 2017 Industry Day will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown Omaha. The hotel offers spacious guest rooms, complimentary fitness center, and indoor pool. The business center is available 24 hours per day for guests, and high speed internet is complimentary in the lobby area. The course offers prospective QC Managers/ Administrators the opportunity to satisfy the Construction Quality Management Certification (CQM-C) training requirements specified in most USACE and NAVFAC construction contracts. This course must be taken and the final test must be passed by any person aspiring to be the QC Manager/Administrator or alternate. The Contractors Quality Control (CQC) requirements and the Governments Quality Assurance (QA) roles are reviewed. A course certificate will be awarded to those who satisfactory complete the training and pass the final exam. The certificate is valid for a five year period from the date of the class.
There is a fee of $125 for this course to cover the cost of the printed materials. [Note: This course has a 10-student minimum, and will be cancelled if the number of registrations does not meet the minimum requirements.]

Complimentary parking is available for hotel guests and conference attendees at the Central City garage (1722 Dodge Street). An underground walkway connects the garage to the hotel lobby.
Parking at the First National Bank parking garage immediately east of the DoubleTree is not complimentary and will not be validated by the hotel. Please plan to use the Central City parking garage for this event.
The room layout shows the anticipated locations of exhibit spaces and food and beverage stations. Please note that the final room layout may change at the discretion of the DoubleTree Catering Staff.

Attendees will have an opportunity to sign up for small group discussions with Industry Leaders. Upon checking in, registrants will receive two personalized stickers, one white and one yellow. The stickers will be used to sign up for two networking discussions. A board will be located in booth 42 with time, Department, Room Assignment and Industry Leader for each session.
From Monday May 8th at 5:00pm until Tuesday May 9th at noon you may sign up for Session 1 using your white sticker only. After 12 noon on Tuesday May 9th you may use your yellow sticker to sign up for Session 2 as your availability allows.
Please Note: Small Group networking sessions are limited in attendance due to space. Once the sticker spaces are filled for a session, please select your next session of interest. Out of courtesy to other interested parties, please make sure you only use White Stickers for Session 1, and Yellow Stickers for Session 2. Misused stickers will be forfeited. Both SAME Omaha Post and the Industry Leaders do our best to keep the Industry Leaders for each group current, however as work priorities and missions demand attention some changes in Industry Leaders may be necessary.
