John Medeiros, USAF (Ret.)</b>, is Principal Director and Owner of Eupraxis LLC and a Ph.D. candidate at the Virginia Tech School for Policy and International Affairs. While in the Air Force and deployed in Iraq in 2006, Col. Medeiros directed $2.3 billion in water, wastewater and water-resource reconstruction, as well as ministerial governance and capacity development for water-related programs. After his deployment, he served on the JCS Global War on Terrorism Strategic Dialogue Group where he collaborated on the President’s Iraq Security Plan. Col Medeiros served in various installation, major command, and headquarters positions, and commanded units at multiple levels. He retired as the Associate Air Force Civil Engineer in 2008 and began his doctoral studies in Infrastructure and Homeland Security in 2012. Sal Nodjomian, P.E., F.SAME, USAF (Ret.)</b>, is Executive Vice President, Matrix Design Group, where he is responsible for the development and execution of strategic plans and leads the vertical integration of broad reaching federal and military practices. He also provides strategic consulting, including business plans and sales strategy development. Prior to joining Matrix, Col. Nodjomian served for nearly 24 years in the U.S. Air Force in a series of progressively demanding positions. He transitioned to the private sector in fall 2012. His final assignment was Installation Commander for Eglin AFB, Fla., where he oversaw more than 6,000 personnel in providing all base operational support, infrastructure and services support for DOD’s largest installation.
