The International Committee's mission is fourfold:
- To identify, develop & resolve issues which restrain sound engineering practices in foreign countries
- To identify & promote private-public sector engineering opportunities worldwide
- To serve as ombudsman for all overseas Posts in concert with the appropriate Regional Vice Presidents
