SAME U offers a collection of educational workshops geared to architects and engineers, construction and project managers, designers, contractors and contracting professionals working with DOD and other federal agencies. From Design-Build to Project Management, all workshops address timely topics affecting the industry while providing information specific to the DOD market.

In addition, SAME has brought together the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) and the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA), to provide review courses that may assist professionals in getting the Certified Construction Manager and the Certified Facility Manager designations. Not all courses are offered at SAME U so review the websites for each to make your decision on attending!  

SAME U allows participants to choose from two-day or three-day seminars for intense training with applications specific to DOD. Attendees at these courses earn Professional Development Hours (PDH's) which are converted to other units as follows:

• 1 8-hour course = 8 Professional Development Hours (PDH)
• 1 Continuing Education Unit (CEU) = 10 Professional Development Hours (PDH)
• 1 College Semester Hour = 45 Professional Development Hours (PDHs)

Courses will be canceled if a minimum of 6 attendees for U.S. locations and 10 attendees for Overseas locations have not registered by 2 weeks prior to start of SAME U. You MUST register in order to hold your seat in the course prior to the deadline listed.  Public Sector/Government attendees may select 3 payment options: Credit Card (government cards are not charged until 2 weeks prior to the event); Pay by Check (can be mailed in prior to event or paid on location at check in) or Pay by Purchase Order (purchase order number is required).

PLEASE NOTE: Public Sector participant's credit cards will not be charged until 2 weeks prior to the SAME workshops.
