Rhein Main Post sponsors robotics contest

The SAME Rhein Main Post, located in Wiesbaden, Germany, encourages young people to develop their interest in engineering and technology by funding and supporting Wiesbaden High School's RoboWarriors Club. The RoboWarriors Club participates annually in the For Inspiration of Research Science and Technology (FIRST) Robotics Competition where students explore research and engineering by using robotic technologies and applications. They also gain the opportunity to work with engineers and other local industry experts to design, build and compete with a high-tech robot.

In March, members of the Post attended and cheered for the RoboWarriors Club at the Frau POW! 4.0 Robotics Competition. The Frau POW! 4.0 Robotics Competition is just one of FIRST's many annual programs that culminate in an international robotics competition and celebration in the United States. According to Sandra Zettersten, Rhein Main Post President, "We could not be prouder of the kids! We are their most enthusiastic sponsors."
