The success of The Military Engineer depends on the efforts of volunteer subject-matter experts—SAME members and otherwise—who commit their time and energy to contributing feature articles based on the themes outlined in the annual TME Editorial Calendar [PDF]. Authors whose work appears in The Military Engineer enjoy the satisfaction of having their work read and appreciated by more than 20,000 of their peers in A/E/C field. And better yet, by following the simple steps outlined below, contributing an article couldn’t be easier.
- Review and consider upcoming themes in the TME Editorial Calendar [PDF].
- Read the guidelines for article proposals in the TME Writer’s Guidelines and submit your article proposal by the specified deadline to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
- With the proposal feedback as your guide, craft a 1,200- to 1,400-word article.
- Use the online submission form to submit your completed article manuscript and all additional materials by the specified manuscript deadline. Review the TME Writer’s Guidelines for details on what must be submitted.
Note: Due to space constraints, SAME cannot guarantee that all completed manuscripts submitted for consideration will ultimately be published in The Military Engineer.
