This "bootcamp" is designed for professionals who want to earn continuing education hours while getting an introduction and overview of the many LEED Rating Systems and for those interested in earning the LEED Green Associate credential through the Green Building Certification Institute.


The LEED Green Associate credential is for professionals who want to demonstrate green building and LEED expertise. It is also the first step to becoming a LEED Accredited Professional (AP)! The LEED Green Associate credential denotes basic knowledge of green design, construction, and operations. Becoming a LEED Green Associate is the best introduction to green building that you will find; it is high level and comprehensive, providing broad insight into the many aspects of green building and LEED as a tool. This bootcamp gets you started on a strong path to studying for and passing the LEED Green Associate exam. As many working professionals already have varying knowledge of green building practices already, this program focuses on LEED-specific bodies of knowledge.  


What we will cover:

·      LEED Rating Systems and their applicability, categories and vocabulary, minimum program requirements

·      Green building design process and costs

·      LEED Online, Interpretations, Innovation and Pilot credits,

·      Credit categories

·      Key concepts and resources to study on your own for the LEED GA exam


This program will “jump start” to your studying, and at the end you will know what to study further on your own next, with resources for doing so!  



This programs earns 3 hours of AIA Learning Units and 3.0 PDH's. We’ll have 3 hours of content with 10 minute breaks in between + wrap up at the end = 3.5 hours total timeframe
