2nd Annual SAME Albuquerque Post

Industry Day 2020

Cancelled

The coronavirus pandemic has made it impossible for the Albuquerque Post to determine when it will be safe for us to hold our Industry Day event. Travel restrictions, health concerns, government stay at home orders and facility closures have made planning a challenge. Since there is no way to establish a date when restrictions will be lifted, and a safe environment will exist we have no choice but to cancel our 2020 event.

It’s our intent to reschedule in the future when we know more about the pandemic and its impact to our conference. Currently, we are unable to select a new date, but our conference planning team is monitoring the situation.

If you have signed up for the conference as an attendee or sponsor you can receive your refund by emailing the following information to the Post Treasure, Hank Rosoff at nmfinite@gmail.com

Please include the following in your email:

  • Company or individual name
  • Make check out to
  • Refund amount
  •  Mailing address
  • Contact name
  • Contact phone

If you have any questions, please contact Hank Rosoff or Post President Paul Waters at wpwaters@burnsmcd.com .

About SAME

The Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) is the only nonprofit professional engineering education organization that actively promotes the advancement of both individual technical knowledge and the collective engineering capabilities of governments, the uniformed services and private industry.

Our goal is to unite public and private sector entities and individuals in the A/E/C fields so that we can prepare for and overcome natural and man made disasters, acts of terrorism and improve security at home and abroad.

The Albuquerque Post accomplishes this goal locally by supporting monthly luncheon meetings and other professional/social activities attended by members of local government, military, private industry, students and other interested parties. These meetings are announced via our e-mail distribution list and quarterly newsletter. We are supported by the national Society of American Military Engineers and publications such as The Military Engineer, which also promotes the interests and goals of our society and its members. Please peruse our website to discover the benefits of SAME Albuquerque Post membership.
