COVID-19 is a worldwide public health crisis. As the emergency began to evolve in early spring 2020, USACE went into action, delivering alternative care facilities (ACFs) across the country on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) - 15,074 beds in 38 facilities in 75 days. The architect, engineer, contractor (AEC) industry rallied around USACE to make it happen. Mission first, people always.
