Sustaining Member Company Benefits

SAME Sustaining Membership includes one Post and six openings for individuals as your member representatives. All six representatives will receive all the benefits afforded them as an SAME member including:

  • Industry Government Engagement by connecting with government and industry leaders
  • Inclusion in the Sustaining Member online directory.
  • Exclusive access to member-only events such as the Federal Program Briefings and CEO Roundtables.
  • Subscription to The Military Engineer magazine and discounted advertising opportunities.
  • Ability to participate in the Sustaining Member Partner Program.
  • Ability to participate in one of the many Communities of Interest.
  • Discounts on exhibiting and attendance for your company representatives to SAME events, including the Joint Engineer Training Conference and the Federal Small Business Conference.

*Joint Ventures membership dues are determined by the total number employees of all companies included in the JV.

Private Sector Working for private industry company. $100 per year
$150 for two years
Private Sector Young Member Working for private industry company, under age 40. $40 per year
$75 for two years
Government Civilian/Academic
Nonprofit		 Working directly for a local, state or federal government agency, academic institution or nonprofit. $45 for three years
Uniformed Service Member Military member in uniform. If you are guard or reserve, you can join in this category but you MUST use your home or duty address and email. NOT your regular work information. $60 one-time fee. Membership lasts for as long as you remain in uniform. This is NOT a lifetime membership.
Fully Retired This category is for members that NOT WORKING and are FULLY retired. If you have retired from the military or government and are still working please join with the category that best represents your current employer type. $40 for one year
Student Full time high school or undergraduate student.
Graduate students please contact: member@same.org		 Free for as long as you remain in school. School and graduation date is required.

» Public Agency Membership

SAME’s Public Agency membership gives you the opportunity to network with professionals outside your service branch or organization--from both the public and private-sectors--who are working collaborativly to identify and resolve national security infrastructure-related challenges. Public agencies include federal, state, county, city/local government and public utilities.

Included with your Public Agency membership are ten openings for individuals as your member representatives at one Post. Each representative receives all the benefits of SAME membership.

The Public Agency Membership belongs to the organization. Individuals associated with a Public Agency membership may be added, changed or removed at any time by the Agency membership POC.

SAME Public Agency Membership is $75 for one year.

» Non-Profit Organization Membership

SAME’s Non-Profit Organization membership gives you the opportunity to network with professionals from both the public and private-sectors--who are working collaborativly to identify and resolve national security infrastructure-related challenges. 

Included with your Non Profit Organization membership are ten openings for individuals as your member representatives and one Post. Each representative receives all the benefits of SAME membership.

The Non-Profit Membership belongs to the organization. Individuals associated with a Non-Profit membership may be added, changed or removed at any time by the Agency membership POC.

SAME Non-Profit Membership is $250 for one year.  

The Non Profit Organization membership fee of $250 may be waived if you wish to work with SAME as a Strategic Partner. Strategic Partnerships are arranged through the office of the SAME executive director. Contact koff@same.org if your organization would like to partner with SAME.

» Academic Institution Membership

SAME's network of more than 28,000 professionals can strengthen the knowledge, skills and connections your academic institution can provide your students. These benefits help bring real-world experience into your classroom.

The SAME Academic Institution Membership includes ten openings for individuals to represent the academic institution at local, regional and national education & training events. These representatives must be faculty or staff of the institution.

The Academic Institution Membership belongs to the organization. Individuals associated with an Academic Institution membership may be added, changed or removed at any time by the Academic Institution's membership POC.

An SAME Academic Institution membership is $250 a year.
