Welcome to the Society of American Military Engineers Frontier Post website. The Mission of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) is to bring together professionals in engineering and engineering-related fields worldwide, to increase our national engineering capabilities through the exchange of information and promoting emerging technologies, applications and practices.

The Frontier Post, based in Cheyenne, WY includes local military engineers, private contractors, consultants, and engineers. Our monthly meetings and post activities promote an atmosphere in which members are able to freely exchange information on current industry issues and trends. Additionally, our monthly meetings include informative presentations on a variety of engineering and construction related topics.

Tour of Missile Training Silo

F.E. Warren AFB Missile Maintenance

Come tour a replica of a Minuteman III missile silo, used for training by missile maintenance crews. Box lunches will be provided after the tour.

Directions: From I-25, take the Randall/Pershing Exit (FE Warren Gate 1), and turn west. The visitor center will be on the right. Park and enter the visitor center, and have a photo ID, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance.
Please arrive at the FE Warren Visitor Center at 11:00 to allow time for the entry process. Tour will start at 11:30.
