Message from the Post President
We are thrilled with the significant growth Fort Benning experienced due to the recommendations of the 2005 Base Realignment & Closure (BRAC) law and the privatization of on-Post housing under the Residential Communities Initiative. In 2011, Fort Benning completed transformation to the Maneuver Center of Excellence, combining Infantry, Armor, and Cavalry institutional training. Our members are eager to promote SAME to the local community and this new growth offers exciting opportunities for the local Post. We encourage you to look over our Web site and consider attending one of our monthly meetings. Whether you are interested Professional Development Hours or learning about the latest developments in today's engineering community, the Fort Benning-Columbus Post is the place for you!
