“To lead collaborative efforts to identify and resolve national security infrastructure-related challenges.”
What is the CMCC? Will it Affect Me, and How Can I Prepare for It?
Don't miss the next upcoming SAME Fort Bragg Membership Meeting, featuring Lori Jackson, president of White Raven Security.
Cybersecurity compliance can be a maze of regulations, acronyms, and techno-babel. When faced with this challenge, it's no wonder many companies simply throw up their hands in defeat, claiming ignorance instead. Unfortunately, that is no longer an option. Beginning in 2020, the DoD will be requiring every company within the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) to have their cyber hygiene and stature assessed for maturity by an outside auditor.
In her talk, Lori will walk you through the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC): its origins, how it might affect you, the current status and time line, and what you need to know in order to get prepared.
