    The Society of Military Engineers has established strategic partnerships with several non-profit associations whose missions align with that of SAME. The partnerships allow SAME members to take advantage of the licensure, certification, continuing education and networking opportunities offered by these organizations at discounted rates.     • AABC Commissioning Group & Energy Management Association Dual Partnership. ACG Mission. ACG strives to promote a better understanding of the commissioning process by educating, training, and certifying qualified individuals as Certified Commissioning Authorities (CxAs). EMA Mission. EMA provides comprehensive training and education for energy management professionals, building owners, and other industry professionals. EMA is in the process of applying for recognition in the Department of Energy's Better Buildings® program for its Energy Management Professional (EMP) Certification, which is expected in the next few months. SAME Posts and ACG/EMA are encouraged to collaborate by having joint meetings and hosting education sessions for members of both association. To see the MOA, click here.
    • APPA - Leadership in Educational Facilities provides educational professionals the tools, services and networking to build their careers, transform their institutions, and elevate the value and recognition of facilities in education. APPA is the association of choice for more than 14,000 educational facilities professionals from 1,300 educational institutions in North America. APPA’s internationally recognized programs include the esteemed Leadership Academy, and the Institute for Organization Management.  APPA’s esteemed recognition programs, thought leaders’ research, its vast body of knowledge and its publications support understanding of the industry’s professional disciplines.  Through its Facilities Performance Indicators program and industry data collection, APPA identifies best practices and solutions to critical facility issues.  APPA is recognized as an ANSI Accredited Standards Developer and is the recognized U.S. producer and publisher of American National Standards for the facilities management industry and profession. https://www.appa.org/ Click here to see the MOA.
    • Association of General Contractors (AGC) of America strives to create a strong, vibrant, competitive and safe construction market. AGC has experts and activists that make sure that the construction voice is heard on key issues.  The focus of collaboration with AGC will be on workforce development and issues affecting the federal construction industry.  See the MOA.
    • The American Institute of Architects has been the leading professional membership association for licensed architects, emerging professionals, and allied partners since 1857.  AIA and SAME support each other’s programs and allow for exchange of member rates for select webinars and seminars.  See MOA.
    • The mission of the Construction Management Association of America is to promote the profession of Construction Management and the use of qualified Construction Managers on capital projects and programs.  CMAA has provided SAME members unlimited access to their virtual CCM prep course at 66% discount.  SAME members may register for their programs at the CMAA member rate using code: SAME SOP.  See MOA.
    • Design Build Institute of America promotes the value of design-build project delivery and teaches the effective integration of design and construction services.  SAME and DBIA collaborate on programs for various conferences such as the Federal Owners Forum.  See MOA.
    • Drexel University. SAME members and family can now earn a top-ranked degree or certificate and receive special tuition rates when you enroll in one of Drexel University’s distinguished online programs.  Members may also be eligible for tuition assistance for job-related programs through their organization's benefits policy and deferred tuition payment plans through Drexel.  See MOA. 
    • The mission of the International Code Council is to provide the highest quality codes, standards, products and services for all concerned with the safety and performance of the built environment.  SAME and ICC explore opportunities to promote building safety as a vital component of national security.  See MOA.
    • The mission of the International Facility Management Association is to advance the ​professional discipline of facility management worldwide.  SAME and IFMA collaborate on the Facilities Management Workshop annually.  MOA in progress.
    • The National 8(a) Association helps 8(a) certified Businesses and all other companies that work with them to gain valuable education, promotion, and federal contracting information they need to further advance their level of experience and achieve a higher degree of success.     • The mission of The National Council for Public-Private Partnerships is to advocate and facilitate the formation of public-private partnerships at the federal, state and local levels, where appropriate, and to raise the awareness of governments and businesses of the means by which their cooperation can cost effectively provide the public with quality goods, services and facilities. Institutes/Post Collaboration. SAME Posts are encouraged to collaborate with NCPPP and it’s institutes directly in order to focus Regional or Post meetings on a particular sector of public – private partnerships.     • The mission of the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying is to advance licensure for engineers and surveyors in order to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of the public.  NCEES will assist SAME members in completing the licensure process – to include deployed service members.  See MOA.
    • The HUBZone Contractors National Council is a non-profit trade association providing information and support for companies and professionals interested in the Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Contracting Program. The Council assists companies in contributing to the economic development of disadvantaged communities by reducing unemployment and homelessness by strengthening, improving, and promoting the HUBZone Program and by helping HUBZone-certified companies maximize their success in earning federal contracts.  SAME has partnered with the HUBZone Council in order to share programming, event information and more.  Click here to see the MOA.
    • The Project Management Institute, Inc. (PMI) is a non-profit organziation dedicated to advancing the practice and science of project management.  This MOA describes how PMI and SAME intend to share resources and exchange information in pursuit of building collaborative efforts, exploring opportunities to promote each other's mission and creating mutual benefit for PMI and SAME members.  PMI is also committed to serving Veterans and their families by supporting their efforts to gain the PMP credential and become valued project managers.  Click here to see the MOA.  Click here to see more on Veteran Support!
    • The Society of Marketing Professional Services is the only North American organization for marketing and business development professionals in architecture, engineering, and construction industries.  SAME collaborates with SMPS on conference programs for our marketing and business development professionals.  See MOA.
    • RedVector offers continuing education built to meet the specific to the A/E/C industry needs. Through the SAME/RedVector online portal, SAME members enjoy a 15 percent discount on all courses.
