Greetings from New Jersey Post SAME. I hope you have enjoyed our programming for 2018 including: training events for Coastal Resiliency, Construction of Coast Guard Station in Atlantic City, National Response Framework and addressing emerging contaminants in water. We also had multiple networking opportunities including the Annual Awards Ceremony, Devils Hockey game, young member events, Small Business meeting and the golf outing. We gave back to our youth by helping stand up STEM Day the New Jersey National Guard Family Summer Camp, awarded scholarships, supported our Student Chapter at Rowan University participated in the Jersey Shore Junior Science Symposium and Math Counts.

Centennial Celebration Point of Contact. – SAME has formed the National Centennial Task Force to plan a year- long celebration that includes a reenactment in the Eisenhower Convoy; a 1919 event designed to test the capabilities of the US Army Motor Transport Corps and support the “Good Roads Movement.” We are seeking a Post Liaison to the Task Force.

We are looking for two chairs, one for sustaining members and one for Membership. Sustaining members are formed at the company level; our Sustaining Member Committee chair has the opportunity to interact with decision-makers within our region and beyond. The Membership chair is responsible for individual and Agency Memberships. Most of most of our uniformed service and government members are individual members so our membership chair has the opportunity to engage with decision-makers in uniforms services and government members are individual members so our membership chair has the opportunity to engage with decision-makers in uniforms services and government.
