From August 2014 to February 2015, over 600 Seabees from U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) FOUR deployed to seven PACOM and two NORTHCOM sites for a period of six months.
The battalion was tasked with 27 projects and 4 exercises while operating as forward deployed construction force to support Major Combat Operations (MCO) and Humanitarian Aid/Disaster Relief (HA/DR) Operations.
