SAME Webinar: "Emerging Water Quality Challenges for Military Installations & Potential Solutions"

The SAME Energy and Sustainability COI will host a webinar on November 5, 2019 at 12 noon EST titled: "Emerging Water Quality Challenges for Military Installations & Potential Solutions" .

We will discuss the growing threat to public health from unsafe water cannot be overstated.  Whether the contamination is from lead, bacteria, or chemicals, all water systems can impose health risks.  These threats arise from flaws in the supply systems serving military installations, or from causes emerging from plumbing and mechanical systems within military facilities.  This webinar lays out the pathway for facility managers, contractors, and water utility suppliers to assess and manage risks and ensure water quality to protect all personnel who work or live on or near U.S. military installations.

Kurt Steenhoek – International Representative for Plumbing, United Association, Denver, CO.

Gerard Waites – Legislative & Policy Legal Counsel, O’Donoghue & O’Donoghue Law Firm, Washington, DC

Chris Carter – Vice President of Service, Murphy Company, St. Louis, MO.

Rich Benkowski - Training Specialist, United Association International Training Fund, Annapolis, MD
