Presenters: Jim Pattee and Dan August

Scope: This presentation will provide a look into recent innovations in Modular Delivery which are being implemented into many complex Federal Projects.  The recent surge in the construction industry has left a shortage of skilled craftsmen.  Focusing on integrating Modular Delivery into the Design Process has proven an effective method improving safety, quality by shifting production labor off-site into a controlled environment. This shift of production labor has proven effective in reducing the numbers of workers required.  The program will focus on the key factors surrounding the ability to successfully integrate modular delivery into the design and construction process.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understanding recent Innovations in Modular Delivery and its positive impacts upon schedule, quality and resource availability.
  2. Recognizing the benefits integrating modular delivery early into the design development process.
  3. Learn about the tools which are available to manage the process from Design through Commissioning.
  4. Understanding the benefits of performing off-site systems precommissioning.
