We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to Tour the Old Dominion Electric Cooperative (ODEC) Wildcat Point Generating Facility on Thursday, November 21, 2019.
Wildcat Point began operating in 2018 and is a combined-cycle, natural gas power plant in Cecil County. It is one of the cleanest natural gas facilities of its size in Maryland, generating approximately 1,000 megawatts, which is enough to power 390,000 homes annually. ODEC is a not-for-profit generation and transmission cooperative that operates for the benefit of its members/owners and provides electric services to 11 cooperatives in Virginia, Maryland and Delaware.

Attention surveyors and history buffs: as an added bonus, attendees will have an opportunity to see a Crownstone originally set in 1766 by Mason and Dixon as part of their work to define the boundary between PA and MD.
Tickets (including buffet lunch) are $20 (plus Eventbrite fee); for security reasons, walk-ins are not permitted.
