The Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Panama City Post, in cooperation with the Florida Engineering Society (FES) Panama City Post, continues its efforts to promote STEM activities through the support of MATHCOUNTS. In support of this year's MATHCOUNTS, SAME and FES are seeking volunteers for this year’s 21 Feb 2020 – MATHCOUNT event, led by FES – Ms. Jennifer Aldridge.
If you, or someone you know can volunteer for the 2020 event, please let us know by emailing Mr. Edward Quinn @ firstname.lastname@example.org
Most volunteers will be needed to grade local Middle School team competitors math tests. A answer key will be provided to volunteers so advanced math skills are not required. A few of the volunteers will be asked to hand out tests, scratch paper, pencils, etc., and collect completed tests. Volunteers are welcome to stay after lunch to watch the one on one competition between the top scoring students from the morning tests, which is always exciting!
DATE: 21 Feb 2020
LOCATION: FSU-Panama City Holley Center
Breakfast donuts and coffee; and lunch is provided to all volunteers.
To volunteer just reply to this email with the name(s) of those who would like to volunteer; or email me at email@example.com; if you are part of another professional organization, please feel free to share this with them.
