Kathy Stewart - Business Director, Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest (NAVFAC)- Kathy Stewart currently serves as the Business Director for NAVFAC Southwest in San Diego, CA. She is the Senior Civilian of the organization with more than 3000 employees and a volume of business exceeding $5B. Kathy is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Virginia and South Carolina. She has authored several published articles and is Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act certified in both Facilities Engineering and Contracting. Kathy is a Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Fellow and serves on San Diego Post Executive Board.
John Capelli, EwingCole - Principal, Director of Government Practice: John is EwingCole's Director of the Government Practice and is responsible for a national A/E program exclusively focused on U.S. Federal Agencies. John has cultivated a practice that supports a diversity of client needs - strategic planning, master & facility planning, building design, construction, and post occupancy support while responding to the complexity of today's and tomorrow's needs.
Steph Vargas, EwingCole - Associate, Federal Program Manager: Steph works with NAVFAC SW, VA Loma Linda and the U.S. Army Engineering & Support Center, Huntsville on a variety planning, design and construction projects. Based in Irvine, California he has delivered a mix of military, R & D and healthcare projects for over 30 years.
