The SAME 2019 Transition Workshop & Job Fair connects uniformed and veteran service members with organizations recruiting qualified A/E/C professionals. Whether you’re just starting your transition, have your separation date set, or are now a civilian looking for your next opportunity —you’ll benefit from this program featuring:
Each attending company or agency that is recruiting has a private suite for small group gatherings as well as one-on-one discussions.
Submit your resume in advance by going to your member account dashboard and uploading your resume under documents. We’ll forward it to employers who are actively looking to fill positions specific to your skills and expertise.
Registration is FREE for SAME members who are transitioning military or not currently employed; there is a nominal fee for SAME members employed in the private sector and nonmembers.

Job seekers are asked to send a resume and other details prior to the workshop. Resumes will be shared with recruiting companies prior to the workshop for their review and to schedule meetings and interviews.

All individuals attending on behalf of the recruiting company must register to attend; individuals do not have to be members of SAME. All suite purchases include:
-Two-room hotel suite in which meetings with job seekers may be conducted during the hours the suites are open
-Access to job seeker resumes prior to the event;
-Opportunity to introduce the company to the group of job seekers; and
-Two recruiter registrations
Additional registrations for company representatives are available at an additional cost.

This includes complimentary breakfast and manager's reception daily, and wireless internet in the guest room. The Transition Workshop & Job Fair is easily accessible. Those traveling by air should fly into Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI). The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service between the airport and the hotel.
The Embassy Suites BWI is also easily reached by train; use the BWI Airport station. The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the train station.
And...complimentary parking is available to those traveling by car!
Col. Sal Nodjomian, P.E., F.SAME, USAF (Ret.), is Executive Vice President, Matrix Design Group, where he is responsible for the development and execution of strategic plans and leads the vertical integration of broad reaching federal and military practices. He also provides strategic consulting, including business plans and sales strategy development. Prior to joining Matrix, Col. Nodjomian served for nearly 24 years in the U.S. Air Force in a series of progressively demanding positions. He transitioned to the private sector in fall 2012. His final assignment was Installation Commander for Eglin AFB, Fla., where he oversaw more than 6,000 personnel in providing all base operational support, infrastructure and services support for DOD’s largest installation. Among his other diverse career assignments include Senior Military Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Installations, Environment & Logistics, and Commander, 332nd Expeditionary Mission Support Group.
