Ms. Pelucio is Registered Architect with over 30 years of professional design and project management experience including architectural design, space planning, construction documents and specifications, consultant/client coordination and construction administration. She prepares full design plans and specifications and coordinates design with all other disciplines. She routinely leads design charrettes and review meetings with NAVFAC, USACE and USAF clients and their respective customers/end user groups. She is highly experienced in UFC 1-200-02 HPSB and sustainable design on DoD projects that range from minor interior upfits to multi-million-dollar new construction and renovations. While working at ZAPATA, she has served as architect and/or project manager on 41 NAVFAC, USACE, and USAF task orders with a total construction value over $250M for a wide variety of military facility types in NC, SC, GA, and FL.

Marcy will present on the multi-discipline A-E study and assessment to determine repairs needed to renovate Building 517 . The former airplane repair hangar was built in 1961 on sandy soil and is within a seismic zone and therefore needed significant upgrades to address concerns regarding seismic/structural, wind loads, hazmat, and fire protection within this hangar facility. She led a multi-disciplined team through the conditions assessments and Seismic (Teir 1 and 3) evaluations and provided designs to structurally repair and upgrade the building structure, interior and exterior finishes, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil design for the hangar.
