The Gem State Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) invites you to sponsor and/or participate in our 2025 Annual Golf Tournament in Mountain Home, ID. The tournament is at Desert Canyon Golf Course on Friday, 26 September with a shotgun start at 9:00 AM.
The golf tournament raises scholarship funds for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) students attending Idaho Universities. The money raised also supports local High School students to attend SAME Construction and Engineering Military Summer Camps. Last year, we awarded a $3,500 scholarship to a deserving STEM college student. We sponsored one high school STEM camper and one STEM camp mentor.
Sponsorship companies are highlighted during the golf tournament in front of numerous national and local engineering and construction firms, as well as personnel from Mountain Home Air Force Base and Gowen Field. You do not have to be a member of SAME to be a sponsor nor do you need to participate in the tournament.
