The Post is seeking sponsors and attendees for the 2024 Engineers Appreciation Dinner at the United States Naval Academy on March 26th, 2024. Your sponsorship allows SAME to celebrate the midshipmen graduating from USNA engineering programs in 2024. Our Post sponsors the USNA student post. Join us for our annual dinner to celebrate the accomplishments of the graduating midshipmen class before they are commissioned.

Dinner Keynote Speaker:

FLTCM DELBERT M. TERRELL JR. Fleet Master Chief Personnel, Manpower, and Training.

Fleet Master Chief Terrell graduated from Kingfisher High School in 1988 and is a native of Kingfisher, Oklahoma. He joined the Navy and attended Recruit Training Command at San Diego, California in April 1989. After graduation, he reported to Construction Electrician “A” School training in Port Hueneme, CA.

Fleet Master Chief Terrell is Seabee Combat Warfare Specialist and Fleet Marine Force qualified. His personal awards include the Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (2), Joint Service Achievement Medal (2), Navy Commendation Medal (5) and Navy Achievement Medal (3). Selected as DoN Active Duty 2009 DoD African American History Month Awardee. He is a graduate of the Keystone Course (16/1), U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 144 – Dean’s list) and CMC/COB Course (Class 059). He’s earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Management from National Louis University and a Master’s Degree in Administrative Leadership from the University of Oklahoma.
