Overview of Coastal Resiliency for DoD Installations
Please join us for the upcoming February SAME Coastal Carolina Post meeting. Angela Schedel, Ph.D, P.E., Director of Coastal Programs for HDR, will present an overview of Coastal Resiliency as it relates to the Department of Defense.
As development continues, protecting our bases and coastal zones from challenging conditions (i.e from erosion, flooding and reoccurring severe weather events) will require investment into coastal resilience projects. This presentation will highlight some of the initiatives taken from the DoD and example projects from different installations.
