You’ve driven across it countless times and have always wanted to see inside. Now is your chance! Join us for
an interesting and informative tour of Constellation Energy’s Conowingo Dam and Hydroelectric Generating
Station. After a box lunch and overview briefing, we will have a guided walking tour of the facility.
Key administrative information:
The tour is limited to the first 15 to register and pay securely on-line. Due to the expected high demand, you
must be a member of SAME to register.
If demand exceeds 15, then we will maintain a waiting list in the event of cancellations.
For your safety, hard hats and other protective equipment will be provided. No flip-flops, high heels, sandals,
or open-toe shoes. Please wear long pants. No purses, bags, backpacks, water bottles, or drinks.
Time: 11:30am Arrival/Check-In
11:45am Box Lunch/Overview Briefing
12:15pm – 1:15pm Tour
1:15pm – 1:30pm Wrap-up; Depart
Place: Conowingo Hydroelectric Generating Station, 2569 Shures Landing Road, Darlington, MD 21034
Cost: $35.00 per person (includes box lunch) (Please note that there is no charge for the tour. The registration
fee covers the cost of the boxed lunch and a donation to the Post’s scholarship program.)
PDH: 1 PDH will be provided to attendees
Registration: Register by 5:00pm on Friday, February 27th thru Eventbrite. (Space is limited to the first 15 to register and pay securely on-line. If demand exceeds 15, then we will maintain a waiting list in the event of cancellations. Walk-ins will not be accepted.)
Due to security requirements, the list of attendees must be provided to Constellation in advance; therefore,
walk-ins cannot be accepted.
