Join us for the Kaiserslautern Post’s annual STEM event at Ramstein High School on Monday February 23rd from 1300-1500 in the Great Hall. It will be an open forum event where students can explore various booths, interact with professionals, and ask questions during their afternoon seminar time. Designed for approximately 200-300 students to wander, learn, and engage with the exciting world of STEM. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to inspire and engage with the next generation of STEM enthusiasts.
Planned displays include:
- 435th Construction and Training Squadron – Heavy equipment
- 786th Civil Engineer Squadron – Heavy equipment, robot mowers, Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Readiness and Emergency Management
- 86th Civil Engineer Squadron – Engineering Assistants (Surveyors and Cartographers), Engineers (multiple disciplines)
- Geographic Information Systems (GIS) / Data Science / GeoBase Mapping
- Environmental Engineering and Environmental Science
- RHS Robotic Team
- SAME Engineering and Construction STEM Camps
- STEM Scholarship Opportunities for graduating seniors
- US Army Corps of Engineers – School Underground Tour; overview of some local construction projects
