Our Beer, Bourbon, and Baseball fundraiser held at the Engineer’s Club in Mount Vernon on 9 September was a huge success. Over 150 guests celebrated our partnership with the Baltimore Station by donating all proceeds from this exciting event to The Baltimore Station. Raffles included hard to find bourbons, Maryland craft beer, Ravens tickets, Lagos jewelry and much more. The raffles added $2,000 to the TBS donation.
This exclusive event featured open full bar including a signature Woodford Old Fashioned, keynote speaker (and singer) Oriole great Rick Dempsey, an appearance by Jim Henneman Orioles principal scorer from 1997-2019, dinner, add on a VIP bourbon, add on VIP beer tastings, a bourbon cocktail class, and live band 24K. Fun was had by all!
Since 1987, The Baltimore Station has transformed from a small group of devoted volunteers who assisted the homeless in South Baltimore to the nationally recognized therapeutic treatment program it is today. Many of those served at the Baltimore Station are U.S. Veterans. https://baltimorestation.org/
