Ten volunteers from the Post served veterans at The Baltimore Station on 23 August. We had a great time serving “the perfect cheesecake” and having conversations with the veterans in transition. Thanks to Stacy Kahatipitiya and Andy Parker of the Philanthropy Committee for organizing this awesome event!
Catch us at the next Baltimore Station event on 9 September: Beer, Bourbon, and Baseball!! The Baltimore Station turns lives around. They are an innovative therapeutic residential and outpatient treatment program supporting veterans who are overcoming obstacles to regain self-sufficiency.
Thank you so much for bringing SAME for a meal service, I have had multiple residents come up to say what nice conversations they had with your volunteers, and one may even come back to speak with residents in a group setting soon. We are always so appreciative of groups that go above and beyond to cook, serve, and enjoy such an amazing meal with clients. Thank you!
