About the Event:
Join the SAME Cape Fear Post for our Annual Marilyn Knowlton Scholarship Picnic — an evening to recognize this year’s scholarship recipients and support future scholarships through the Cape Fear Post Education and Mentoring Fund.
- 5:30 – 6:15 PM: Social Hour featuring live music by Masonboro Sound
- 6:15 – 6:30 PM: Scholarship Presentation honoring this year’s recipients
- 6:30 – 7:30 PM: Dinner
- Following dinner: Raffle drawings for prizes
Proceeds and raffle ticket sales ($2 each or 6 for $10, available at the picnic) help fund future scholarships.
Dinner catered by Casey’s Buffet: pork BBQ, fried chicken, mac-n-cheese, green beans, coleslaw, banana pudding, and sweet & unsweet tea.
