Join the SAME DC Post at the National Press Club for our 31st Annual Excellence in Service Awards Dinner, our signature evening recognizing outstanding achievements and contributions across the military, architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry, and SAME DC Post.
This distinguished annual celebration brings together senior military and government leaders, industry executives, and emerging professionals to honor excellence in leadership, service, and professional achievement.
The evening features three award categories:
- Military Service Branch Awards: Recognizing outstanding junior officers and enlisted service members from the U.S. Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, Public Health Service, and Space Force.
- Industry Awards: Celebrating exceptional individuals and companies whose contributions advance the A/E/C profession and support our nation’s missions.
- SAME DC Post Awards: Honoring members and volunteers whose leadership, dedication, and service strengthen the Post and advance SAME’s mission, with a special contribution to Team River Runner in recognition of its commitment to supporting veterans and military families.
The evening will conclude with the introduction of the incoming SAME DC Post Board of Directors and a ceremonial transition of leadership, as outgoing Post President Bree Beal passes the gavel to John Knight, the 106th President of the SAME DC Post, marking a new chapter of leadership and continued service to the SAME DC community.
