SAME DC Post members are invited to support our STEM outreach efforts by volunteering at the upcoming DC MATHCOUNTS Chapter Competition. This is a great opportunity to engage with local students, support math and problem-solving education, and represent SAME’s commitment to building the future of the A/E/C industry.
The competition will take place on Saturday, February 8, at Saint Anselm’s Abbey School. With 17 schools and 175 middle school students registered to compete, this year’s event is shaping up to be one of the largest and most impactful DC MATHCOUNTS competitions to date.

We are seeking volunteers to help make the day a success. Support is needed for:
- Proctoring competition rooms
- Scoring test papers
- Assisting with event flow and student support
Your participation helps ensure a positive, organized, and inspiring experience for these students as they challenge themselves and showcase their skills.
