Join the SAME Huntsville Post for the first annual Scholarship Fundraiser Sporting Clay Shoot. This event will support increasing the SAME Huntsville Post Scholarship awards, which in 2024 reached $41,000. The event will be April 4, 2024, at the Easter Ferry Huntsville Preserve in Elkmont, AL. a lite breakfast and lunch will be provided. Sponsorships are available as a listed below.
Registration: $125 per person ($500 per team, 4-person team)
Sponsorships
- Title (1): $1500 (includes signage, recognition, special announcement, and 4-man team)
- Lunch (1): $1250 (includes signage, recognition, and 2-person signup)
- Pointer (1) $1250 (includes signage, recognition, and 2-person signup)

- Trophy (2): $500 (includes signage and recognition)
- Safety (1): $500 (includes signage and recognition)
- Shooting Station (12): $150 (include station signage)
Shooters are responsible for their own shotgun and ammo. Shotgun recommendations are 12 or 20 gauge, however a shooter may bring their preferred shotgun for the event, such as 16 and 28 gauge. The ammo should be 7 1/2 shot, and each shooter should bring at least 100 shells. The venue has a limited number of rental guns.
The event will be limited to 24 teams of 4, so register soon before spots run out. Cutt off date is March 20. Individuals may also register and will be teamed with fellow members on a first-come first served basis.
