A&M SAME Student Chapter Robotics Team
The Alabama A&M SAME student chapter and Vex Robotics team participated in its second Vex U Competition at Auburn University on January 25th, 2025, previously known as Auburn Vex U “High Stakes” Competition.
The team competed for a top 10 ranking status and won their first award, “The Judges Award (VRC/VEXU/VAIC/ADC/VAIRC)”.
They faced multiple challenges throughout the competition but persevered through constant barriers of minor fixes of their robots over the course of 6 consecutive matches.
AAMU VEX Robotics is the first and only HBCU team to compete at any VEX competition.
The students performed exceptionally well, demonstrating teamwork, and merging vital ideas to achieve outstanding results.
