On October 16, 2025 the Kittyhawk Post hosted its monthly luncheon at the Hope Hotel Conference Center. This luncheon featured Major General Mark Slominski, P.E., Mobilization Assistant to the Commander, Air Force Materiel Command, who discussed AFMC investment in installation resilience and infrastructure modernization. He showcased various tools Air Force Civil Engineers have created for analyzing MILCON projects across the enterprise and how this data can be used to enhance the planning and execution of construction timelines. With a focus on addressing critical infrastructure challenges, the luncheon underscored SAME’s commitment to strengthening partnerships between public and private sectors.
