Join the SAME Charleston Post for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at one of the largest healthcare construction projects in the Southeast. This month’s program features Barton Malow | Edifice (BM&E), the design-build team leading construction of the new Roper St. Francis Hospital in North Charleston, followed by a guided tour of the active job site.
Located on a 27-acre campus at the intersection of Interstates 26 and 526, the new hospital represents a $1 billion investment in the future of healthcare for the Lowcountry. Designed to serve the rapidly growing Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester County region, the facility will be one of the most advanced healthcare campuses on the East Coast.

Barton Malow | Edifice combines Barton Malow’s nationally recognized healthcare construction expertise with Edifice’s decades of experience throughout the Carolinas. Together, the joint venture is delivering one of the region’s most complex healthcare projects, leveraging advanced construction technologies, integrated project delivery, and deep local knowledge to overcome the unique challenges of building in the Charleston market.
Attendees will gain valuable insight into the planning, engineering, and construction strategies behind this landmark project and have the opportunity to see its progress firsthand during the guided site walk.
