On behalf of the Gem State Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), we would like to extend a formal invitation to sponsor and/or participate in our 2026 Annual Golf Tournament in Mountain Home, ID at Desert Canyon Golf Course on Friday, 25 September with a shotgun start at 9:00 AM.
Our post hosts an annual golf tournament to raise scholarship funds for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) students attending Idaho Universities. In addition, we also financially support local High School students interested in pursuing STEM careers to attend SAME Construction and Engineering Military Summer Camps. This past year, we awarded two (2) scholarships to STEM college students of $5,000 each as well as sponsored one high school STEM camper and one STEM camp mentor.
Sponsorship companies are highlighted during the golf tournament in front of numerous national and local engineering and construction firms, as well as personnel from Mountain Home Air Force Base and Gowen Field. You do not have to be a member of SAME to be a sponsor nor do you need to participate in the tournament. Sponsorships levels are listed in the table below and payment methods are on the following page.

We are a non-profit private organization (EIN 81-0456550) that is not affiliated with the DoD or any of its components with no governmental status.
