Our Mission
Lead collaboration in support of our national security priorities through advancing three strategic goals: Drive Partnerships, Deliver Solutions, and Develop People.
About the Post
The Society of American Military Engineers is the only nonprofit professional engineering education organization that actively promotes the advancement of both individual technical knowledge and the collective engineering capabilities of governments, the uniformed services and private industry.
Our goal is to unite public and private sector entities and individuals in the A/E/C fields so that we can prepare for and overcome natural and man made disasters, acts of terrorism and improve security at home and abroad.
The Honolulu Post accomplishes this goal locally by supporting monthly luncheon meetings and other professional/social activities attended by members of local government, military, private industry, students and other interested parties.
These meetings are announced via our e-mail distribution list and quarterly newsletter. We are supported by the national Society of American Military Engineers and publications such as The Military Engineer, which also promotes the interests and goals of our society and its members.

Honolulu Post Cyber Action Forum 2026
Due to current challenges impacting government travel, we regret to inform you that the 2026 SAME Cyber Action Forum will be postponed until further notice. We have encountered multiple headwinds in finalizing the agenda and confirming the participation necessary to deliver the high-quality program our attendees expect and deserve.
SAME and the Planning Committee remain fully committed to providing the best possible experience for our members, partners, and stakeholders. Rescheduling the event to later this year will allow us to secure broader participation and ensure a stronger and more impactful forum.
All sponsorships and registrations will safely carry forward to the event when it gets rescheduled. Please contact Camille Gozum, Camille.Gozum@ghd.com, if you need to make changes or request a refund.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause you. We greatly appreciate your understanding and continued support. We look forward to sharing an update on new dates and details on the Cyber Action Forum soon.
