Event FlyerSite Tour Logistics:
-Site Tour will be Friday, June 5th, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM.
–Capacity is Limited to 30 Personnel. Please limit attendees to maximum of three (3) per organization/firm.
-The Construction Office has limited Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
-Please bring your own hardhat, eye protection, hearing protection if you have them.
-Durable Work Boots are required (Steel Toe Reinforced is preferred).
-Construction personnel will provide you with a mandatory Personal Floatation Device (PFD).
-Register On-Line. Provide Full Name of all in your Group (1 to 3). Provide valid email contact for the Group Leader.
-All registrants for the Site Tour require completion of background checks to access the site. On Monday, May 25th, the Group Leader will receive a DOD Safe Link from USACE Security with instructions to provide information (SSN, DOB) to complete the background checks. These MUST be provided so that background checks may be completed in time for the Site Tour!
Directions to the Site:
-Follow GPS to ‘Montgomery Locks and Dam.’ There is only one road accessing the Site (Montgomery Dam Road). Montgomery Dam Road can be accessed via Route 18.
-Please obey posted speed limits and caution signage along Montgomery Dam Road. Please watch for construction vehicles.
-Cross the railroad tracks and follow the ramp down to the Resident Office (white building) as shown on the attached map. Follow the ramp through the gate at the bottom. Do NOT make the first left after crossing the tracks (this leads onto the concrete batch plant).
-Parking is limited. Please plan to park directly at or around the Resident Office as shown on the map. Check-in inside. The tour will begin in the large conference room.
