SAME Table Top Visit Brings AEC Opportunities to UNT
The Dallas Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) recently hosted a successful Table Top Visit at the University of North Texas Discovery Park on November 12–13, 2025, welcoming students and faculty from across campus. Held in the Discovery Park Main Hallway, the event attracted those interested in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry and related fields.
Throughout the two-day visit, attendees learned about SAME’s mission to unite public and private sector professionals in support of national security and infrastructure. Conversations covered a wide range of topics, including design, construction, project management, materials, cybersecurity, and environmental disciplines. Students had the opportunity to network with professionals, explore internship and career pathways, and learn more about student memberships, upcoming events, and ways to get involved with the UNT SAME Student Chapter.
The event provided valuable connections and insights, empowering students to connect, learn, lead, and help build the future.
