Post Best Practices

Since the Society’s founding in 1920, Posts have served as the foundation for SAME’s ability to impact national security, drive partnership through industry-government engagement, help develop leaders, assist veterans, and inspire and mentor the next generation of STEM professionals. At more than 100 Posts and Field Chapters around the world, volunteer leaders are working to advance the SAME mission, support the joint engineering community, and strengthen the A/E/C profession. Through interviews with these members, Post Best Practices shine a light on the various contributions SAME Posts (large, medium, and small) are making for today, and tomorrow.

SAME Annual Report cover 2023

These Posts will furnish the medium for personal contact and association between our members, without which our Society cannot be a virile, living organization. You will want to meet your fellow patriots—they are the best of good fellows—and so you should join the local Post, if there is one in your locality.
