Baltimore Post: United States Coast Guard – Baltimore Yard Information Session and Tour

Baltimore, MD

SAME Member Only Event:  The US Coast Guard (USCG) is leaning forward in planning for potential increase in funding due to new leadership priorities and  focus on major infrastructure upgrades nationwide. As the Service’s sole organic shipyard, the CG Yard in Baltimore, has been identified as a priority given the majority of its WWII infrastructure requires modernization to service new vessel acquisitions.  Companies with an industrial maritime business model that can support future industrial waterfront revitalization, dredging, pier & wharf replacement/overhaul with interface for a high capacity floating drydock, facility construction, major equipment overhaul, or recapitalization (such as crane operations), utilities overhaul and efficiencies for ship repair and outfitting are invited to join the SAME Mid-Maryland and SAME Baltimore Posts for a tour of the CG Yard.

Registration will end on July 23, 2025 to allow for the facility to approve access.  Registration is limited to the first 45 people.
