Please join us June 1st, 2024 at the Craney Island Project Office for the Clean the Bay day event.
The gate will be open from 0700 to 0800 to access the site.
Please register at Cleanthebay2024@usace.army.mil, if you will be able to attend.
Check-in and an informational brief will occur from 0700 to 0800.
The event will be held from 0800 to 1200.
It is recommend to bring a water bottle, bug spray, and sunscreen.
The recommended attire is long pants, long sleeve shirt, a hat and closed toe shoes.
The site is located at 4599 River Shore Road, Portsmouth, VA 23703.
This event in conjunction with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation region wide events will help to remove some of the debris and refuse from getting into the bay and waterways.
