About the Series
The CxA Workshop & Exam includes a discussion of the commissioning process as described in the ACG Commissioning Guideline, as well as valuable practical insight on skills, strategies, and communication and documentation protocols essential to applying the process on “real world” projects. This highly interactive workshop includes many small-group breakout activities, where attendees will use project case studies to develop and discuss samples of key commissioning deliverables.

What is Covered?
Introduction to the Commissioning Process; New Building Commissioning (Project Initiation Phase, Design Phase, Construction Phase, Occupancy & Operations Phase); and Existing Building Commissioning.
The CxA certification is the premier credential for independent commissioning providers. The CxA program is ANAB accredited and recognized by the Department of Energy’s Better Buildings® Workforce Guidelines program, ensuring that the CxA is considered an approved commissioning credential for all federally funded projects.
