The NAS Oceana Building 603 Fuel Laboratory Renovation modernized a mission-critical JP-5 fuel testing facility while maintaining uninterrupted 24/7 laboratory operations throughout construction. The project involved a complete renovation of the existing building—including new electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and life safety systems—while meeting stringent UFC fuel laboratory standards through carefully planned phasing, temporary facilities, and close multidisciplinary coordination.
