About the Event

Our 42nd annual SAME Lake Michigan Post Chicagoland Golf Outing will take place at the Chick Evans Golf Course in Morton Grove, IL. This outing is our primary fundraising opportunity for the Post’s Education and Mentoring Fund, which provides college scholarships to qualified individuals who are pursuing degrees in the field of engineering, architecture, or the applied sciences, in addition to supporting high-school students interested in STEM careers, to attend one of SAME’s summer STEM Engineering & Construction Camps.

In recent years, through this outing, we have been fortunate enough to award over $10,000 in scholarships for college and summer camps to qualifying students. This year we expect over 100 golfers across our industry, and we are asking for your involvement. With your help, this year’s event will be an even greater success.
